H&Y Ambassador - Mirko Boni
Mirko's passion for photography takes him around the world and that's why, in his adventures, he chose the best filters. H&Y is innovation and quality, perfect and resistant, ready for every situation even the most demanding. My filters must work at best, whether I'm using that at -20 ° in the Icelandic ice or at + 40 ° in the American deserts.
Mirko Boni has been photographing since the age of 11 and is a landscape photographer, specializing in sunsets, nocturnal and panoramic. His favorite subjects are the alpine and lagoon landscapes but above all those of his Sardinia, where he is known for sports photography, particularly in the world of cycling races. His work has been placed in various exhibitions of landscape photography and in London's Somerset House during the 2015 Sony Awards contest in which he ranked third in the panoramic photos Italy category.
"Photographing the alpine landscapes, the coasts of Sardinia and the lakes are my favorite locations! Because I love nature and its colors, I love the colors of autumn and the warm colors of sunset."
"In the 2015 Sony award international competition I was awarded 2 panoramas among the top 50 in the world and I received the third prize in 2015 in the Sony "Italy National Award" competition with the "Cala su Riu" overview"
"I am definitely inclined for landscape photography at sunset and at night with the milky way"
"I have several favorite objectives, for night, the SIGMA Art 14mm f1.8 because it is very bright for the milky way, for sunset and the daytime landscape I love the canon RF 15-35 f2.8, very clear." For panoramas, I use the Samyang fisheye full frame 12mm f2.8 which is very useful because its opening allows me to take 360 ° panoramas.
"During one of my travels, I was in the north of Spain, in front of the hermitage of San Juan de Gaztelugatxe, it is located on a beautiful island connected to the mainland with a 14th century bridge. For this photo I used a Canon EF 16-35 with H&Y ND4000 filters and a GND Balancer."
